I am a passionate writer and a retired veteran Professional engineer of Canada, not sure, which one I could put as my first trait. I am proud to be Canadian and at the same time I boast of my East Indian heritage. My wordcrafts find expressions both in English and vernacular Indian-Bengali. I write fiction novels, short stories, general and professional science, thought-provoking articles.
Over the past half a century, I lived and worked in different countries across the world, including Canada. during this period, I had the opportunity to mix with people in those societies, know their customs and cultures, beliefs, problems, and socio-economic conditions.
I am an ardent lover of nature, animals, forests, natural resources, and the environment. I am a committed worker-writer-thinker for their conservation, care, and sustenance, never shy of undertaking arduous tests and trials of new
ideas, be it in the field of science, technology, or literature. I also write in vernacular Indian Bengali and occasionally take up my paintbrush as an amateur artist to record some of my feelings.
I have pledged to disseminate some basic scientific facts among the masses. They can adopt them in their daily life to avoid some imminent disasters triggered by human activities.
My writings and works aptly reflect these elements in a simple Tell-Tale-Heart style for everyone to grasp. I have a personal mission of doing my part to save our beautiful world for posterity.
